There are not many rules here at Sassy Springs, but this one is a must. We have quiet time hours between 11pm until 8am every single day. Unless you have rented out the entire campground, or every single guest agrees to staying up past 11pm we strictly enforce this rule!
This is also a shared space that our guests adore. We supply everything you need, except for the food, to cook with. It is equipped with a full size fridge and freezer, full size stove, a large wash basin for a sink, microwave, toaster, paper towels, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Occasionally, we we stock the spice rack too. However, you may want to bring your own just in case. Since this is a shared space at full capacity, there may be limited space in the fridge and freezer, We recommend that you bring a cooler along with you to store some things just in case. Also, we do not sell or offer ice on the property. You must bring your own. We have noticed as well, when there is a full house back there many of the guests get together and go in on meals and all cook together big family style. That is a lot of fun! There is one charcoal grill outside of the kitchen area that is also shared. But we can bring you a very small portable grill to your site if you request it.
We do supply our guests with coffee here at Sassy Springs! We have cups, creamers, sugar and hot chocolate available for your enjoyment!
This is the space come hang out and cook, play, and meet others while you are visiting Sassy Springs! This is a shared space that our guests enjoy. You can play cornhole, have a dance party with LED changing color lights, or just relax. All we ask is that you be respectful of others while using the shared spaces!
We have 2 shared bathrooms on site at this time. They have a shower/tub combo, toilet, and sink. The tub is an oversized watering trough. This is our guests favorite amenity on the entire property! Well lit, primitive style decor, and private, these bathrooms are located at the community center. We stock them with towels, wash cloths, hand towels, soaps, shampoo, lotion, and toilet paper. There are no private bathrooms in any of our units. These bathrooms are cleaned twice a day, every single day. If a guest ever needs anything, all you have to do is call us any time of the day or night and we will make sure you get it.
Oh, our little chicken friends that we love so very much here. Feel free to collect fresh eggs in the mornings for your breakfast or just go visit and pet them. Occasionally we will let them out to free range and do not be surprised if the come right up to you and sit next to you for a while. I bet you all they want is just a little rub. The only thing we ask is that you do not taunt, chase, or be mean to them. Please do not let your children pet them or be around them unattended, not because we fear the chickens hurting anyone but that our chickens could get hurt.
This is a beautiful place to sit and sip on your coffee and watch the sun come up or sit and sip your wine and watch the sun set. Comfy and Cozy, this is the heart of the campground for most of our guests!
Give customers a reason to do business with you.Located inside the community center is a little space where you can sit and drink. Bring your own wine and store it in the wine fridge. We supply shot glasses, glasses, and a few bar tools to make your drinks perfect. All you have to do is bring the drinks!
Located inside the community center you will find a safe and fun area for the little ones to play. This is a must for parents who are wanting to keep an eye on the kiddos but relax and enjoy themselves a little but at the same time. We here at Sassy Springs are very family/ kid friendly as we (the owners) have 5 kids ourselves. We want to make sure that everyone staying here is relaxing and enjoying every single minute! We also offer a trampoline, a playground, and outside toys for our guests enjoyment. Inside the community center next to the Kids Area, you will also find a few games like Giant Checkers, Giant Jenga, and Giant Uno. We do offer other games but you must contact the front office where you checked in at and sign them out and in.
Some very important information about these sites! We offer seven sites located along the trail in the woods. Some of these sites are very level and some are not so much. However, all are very well suited for hammocks and tents. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN TENT TO SET UP. These sites do not have electric or water. Please come prepared for this. We do not offer pumps or any type of equipment to help you set up. If you need assistance setting up your tents or hammocks we will be glad to assist you for an extra fee. Inquire about this at check in. You have access to the community center and restrooms during your stay, even if you are in a primitive tent site. For more information give us a call at 931-588-0236.
We offer 15 open field campsites. Again, no water or electric and YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN TENT TO SET UP. These sites are perfect for sky gazing and for large groups and families with kids. Close to the playground and a short walk to the community center and bathrooms. Everything you get with the Primitive Tent Sites you get with these sites. You just are not located in a wooded lot.
